I trained as a classical percussionist in Lagos before discovering sound healing during a residency in Bali. Now based on the Kenyan coast, I combine West African rhythmic traditions with Tibetan singing bowls, gong baths, and intuitive movement to create experiences that bypass the thinking mind entirely.
Music was always my first language. Growing up in Lagos, I played djembe before I could read. I went to conservatory in London, performed across Europe, and then burned out spectacularly during a tour in 2019. A friend invited me to Bali. I intended to stay two weeks. I stayed eight months. During that time, I discovered that the rhythmic patterns I had studied my whole life had healing applications I had never imagined. I completed certifications in sound therapy, somatic experiencing, and Tibetan bowl healing. Then I moved to Watamu, Kenya — a place where the Indian Ocean provides the baseline frequency for every session I lead.
I host retreats because I spent 15 years making music for audiences. Now I make sound for bodies. The shift from performance to healing changed everything I thought I knew about rhythm.
My retreats are for people who live in their heads. Sound and movement get you back into your body faster than any amount of talking. The ocean helps.
Whether you have questions about an upcoming retreat or want to discuss something specific — I'd love to hear from you.
