This is an index of independent guides — yoga teachers, retreat leaders, breathwork facilitators, wellness practitioners — running their own practice on their own terms. Each is sovereign. None of them work for a marketplace. None of them pay for placement. They are listed because they belong here.

The retreat industry has been shaped for a decade by aggregators that take a cut of every booking and treat guides as inventory. The Index is a different proposition: a public record of the people doing the work, owned by the guides themselves, surfaced for the people seeking them out.

Inclusion is by application. Every guide has their own page, their own bookings, their own audience, their own voice. The Index simply makes them findable — and signals to the world that there is a category of independent practitioner worth seeking out.
